Forging Forward Counselling Services

Forging Forward Counselling Services is a group of highly trained regulated professionals located in Pembroke, Ontario, with over 20 years of combined experience in offering counselling, parenting support and information, vocational rehabilitation services, as well as trauma treatment.

Forging Forward Psychotherapists are Registered Master Social Workers, accredited with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers and/or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Lisa, Master Social Worker, is also a trained as a Registered Rehabilitation Professional and Clinical Traumatologist.

Each counsellor has engaged in a different area of concentration and professional development training with the unique ability to work collaboratively together as a team. Our professional team has extensive knowledge from working with adults, children & youth, couples, and families, as well as offering specialized services such as trauma therapy and vocational return-to-work counselling.

Forging Forward is a cost effective counselling service with no waitlists and flexible appointment hours. We are a centrally-located organization that can provide services that cater to communities in Renfrew County as well as surrounding regions across Ontario. Our goal is to help as many people as possible access mental health services either directly through our team of therapists or by providing appropriate referrals to community-based resources.
