Description

We all go through times in our lives when we experience difficulty. There are various personal and social issues for which you might seek the assistance of a therapist. It may be adult ADHD, learning disability, a health issue, life transitions, academic struggles, career issues, family struggles, worry, sadness, life-skill acquisition, or concerns about your mental health. Nevertheless, our future does not have to be defines by our past. Throughout our work together, you can learn to let go of the things that no longer serve you. I work with teenagers, university or college students, teachers, and families, especially those dealing with neurodiversity, mental health issues, or trauma. Taking the first step in searching for a therapist is often the biggest one. Your next step is to connect with a therapist who might be a good fit.

To help you in your search, I want to tell you a little bit about how I think about therapy. The foundation of my work is in building a relationship in which you feel heard, validated, understood, and able to build trust in the therapeutic process. I use an eclectic approach based on each client’s unique needs. I am interested in understanding and helping you in the most effective way - I don’t try to fit certain techniques to every client, but rather consider you as a whole person and fit my approach to you.
