The addition of trying to manoeuvre a complex internal world combined with the lack of support and guidance in what can at times feels like a competitive external world can become even more distressing. Having worked in a variety of systems, I bring in a social justice lens to therapy, while supporting individuals/youth and families manoeuvre the complex system they/we exist in. You do not have to do it alone”.

Having worked both as a front line worker and in residential care settings in Downtown East Side, supporting individuals dealing with mental health and substance use, Ciara brings in a non-judgmental, client-centred, harm reduction approach to her practice. She continually strives to meet client’s where they are at, and harnesses a strong sense of empowerment and advocacy as they take the journey to healing, and recovery.
