Description

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist

Psychotherapy for individuals (adults and youth), and couples

Hi! I'm Toni, a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist in Toronto, Ontario. Life transitions can leave us feeling lost and overwhelmed. It can be hard to appreciate life’s finer moments when we are consumed by our emotions, thoughts, and others' perceptions and expectations of us. This is where I come in.

Attending a new school, entering a new life stage, career change, relocation, navigating new relationships and family dynamics, receiving a life changing diagnosis, becoming a new parent, or experiencing loss can bring up many challenging emotions such as loneliness, fear, grief, anxiety, and depression. These feelings can affect the way we live, learn, parent, maintain relationships, and function in our every day lives.

I help clients cope with stress and life transitions. I focus on getting to know you and your needs and help you work towards meaningful growth and change. I support young people and adults with anxiety and depression, relationship challenges, individuals living with autism or other childhood disability as well as new and expecting parents.

I have been providing services to children, youth, adults and families across the Greater Toronto Area in both mental health and primary care settings for over 5 years. In addition to my clinical work I have a background in and appreciation for research and best practices.

While we can not always change what has happened to us, we can work together to see life in new ways, and to live in service of our values and things most important to us. If you would like to explore whether therapy may be helpful for you, I invite you to get in touch with me by email or phone at the Growth and Wellness Therapy Centre.
