Maribel Ayala. Registered Psychotherapist, EMDR Certified Therapist/ EMDR Consultant in Training, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and Clinical Hypnotherapist:

Ever since Maribel was younger she knew that she wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led her to study Counselling Psychology. She is committed to the well-being of all her clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs.​

Maribel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University in London, Ontario and with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in New Brunswick.

Maribel is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant in Training; a member in good standing of EMDR Canada and EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).

Maribel specializes in trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationship issues, stress, and sexual concerns. She integrates various therapeutic modalities into her clinical practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Family Systems, among others.

Maribel works with a diverse population of clients including but not limited to First Responders, Veterans, First Nations, and WSIB clients.

Willow Hutchinson, Clinical Associate, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying):

Willow is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University in Ottawa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in religion from Carleton University in Ottawa.

Willow provides online services to adult individuals from diverse backgrounds including the 2SLBGTQIA + community.

Willow’s therapeutic approaches are primarily person-centered. To her, this means that your concerns come first, she discusses your therapeutic goals with you, and will work together with you to establish a plan to collaboratively accomplish them.

Willow also uses other therapeutic modalities in her therapy sessions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other approaches to suit her client’s needs. Narrative Therapy is a particular type of modality that Willow enjoys using with her clients as it is based on the notion that we are the authors of our own life stories and as such we have the power to change them.

Elina Suprunova, Clinical Associate,Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying):

Elina is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in New Brunswick and a Double Major Honours Degree in Psychology and Children Studies at York University in Toronto.

Elina’s has been providing counselling and psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, and families. She has experience working with clients with complex mental health and behavioural issues as well as with neurodiverse clients.

Elina’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and client centered. Her work is grounded on attachment and emotional focused theory. She incorporates solution focused, strength based, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) into her practice. She works closely with each person to find and develop a treatment plan that will embrace the uniqueness of each situation and individual.

Elina’s areas of practice are: anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, coping skills, relationship issues, parent coaching, behavioural issues, family conflict, self-esteem.
