Foothills Family Counselling

Foothills Family Counselling provides counselling to individuals and families in need of supportive services.

I offer individual, couples and family counselling. My style is deeply reflective and collaborative. Among other modalities I am fortunate to have been trained in Functional Family Therapy, an intentional, short term and targeted model which continues to inform my approach. I also have formal training in the Satir Model which merges well with the thoughtful and allied aspects of Functional Family Therapy while adding its own flare to my systemic services. I have a background that ranges from youth residential services, men's counselling and play therapy as well as in-home parenting support and family therapy. I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I've spent the last 13 years working with families to navigate the challenges of family life and love. I trust in families and the staying power of connection and understanding.
