About us:

Jennifer Cameron-Turley M.Sc., S-LP(C), Reg. SK, B.A. with distinction in Psychology in 1999 at the University of Victoria and M.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2002 at the University of British Columbia.

I have worked in Saskatoon as a medical Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) since 2007, and prior to this I worked as an acute care S-LP at Vancouver General Hospital for several years.

I served as President of my provincial regulatory body, SASLPA, in 2011-2012. Here I gained valuable experience leading an organization to regulate professionals in the interests of the public and to guide and assist professionals to provide safe, competent and ethical care.

I have been an active member, and acted as chair, of several committees at both the provincial and national level with many organizations in order to represent speech and hearing professionals and to tirelessly advance clinical practice, professionalism, and patient care. I served as Chair of the Board of Directors of my national professional association, Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) in 2021. I am also currently working as Provincial Advocacy Manager for Speech-Language Pathology, working to advocate for increased access for speech-language pathology and audiology services for all residents of Saskatchewan.
