Description

Registered Psychotherapist offering individual therapy to adults struggling with mental health.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy at OISE, University of Toronto. During the day, I work at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in the Borderline Personality Self-Regulation Clinic; and in the evenings I am here at my private practice.

I offer individual counselling services to adults struggling with mental health; specifically depression, anxiety, borderline traits (ie. self-harm, impulsivity, emotion dysregulation, passive suicidal ideation), anger management, interpersonal problems, relationship conflicts, stress from loved one's mental health struggles, general stress, and low self-esteem. I also work with individuals who just want to develop mindfulness skills, do exploration work, or personal development work.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, integrative and tailored to your goals; because I believe everyone is different and an expert of their own lives. My therapeutic approach draws upon Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is client centred. To me, therapy is a journey of empowerment and building on strengths to create a life that is meaningful. My goal is to help you navigate your emotions, interpersonal relationships or any other difficulties you might be experiencing so that you can start enjoying a life that is meaningful to you.
