Description

Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Toronto who supports mental health and stress presentations.

At times we can feel our lives life should be different from how they are - that we should be different from how we are. Let's face it, life can just be hard. We find ourselves anxious, angry, sad and exhausted - at ourselves, at the world, at our family and friends. Sometimes we even find ourselves engaging in behaviours or actions to make ourselves feel better like drinking, eating, or going on social media a lot, only they don't work, not really. And we don't know what to do about it. It can make us feel alone.

My style is direct and genuinely non-judgemental. You will hear me say “that makes sense because…” a lot. My goal is to create a space where you can understand what is going on in your life. Because when we understand and accept where we are, we can begin to see a different path for our future - and begin to like ourselves and our lives life more.

If you are interested, let's talk and together we can find ways to help you move forward. I have extensive training and work with techniques proven to help including mindfulness skills (17 years of personal practice), Adult Attachment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
