Description

Offering capable, quality, client-centred counselling from an intersectional feminist lens.

Peak Resilience is forwarding the revolution towards a world that empowers the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of all individuals and our global community, especially in the face of the systemic oppression that exists in our society.

Individual Counselling:

Everyones experience in therapy is unique. But the main thing to know, is that speaking with a counsellor is different from talking to a friend or family member, however close or trusted they may be. In addition to being free from the sorts of biases that show up in family and friends, a trained therapist is professionally qualified to offer different perspectives and the right tools to overcome the specific issues you`re facing. Often our role is in reframing things so that what our clients already know to be the answer can become clear to them.

Groups & Workshops:

Peak Resilience leverages cutting edge research and group therapy principles for truly transformational experiences. In addition to being more financially accessible, research shows that group therapy yields the same benefits as individual therapy. In fact, depending on the individual, group therapy can be even more effective. For many people, a group therapy setting is the key to unlocking the social and emotional muscles needed to thrive in a way that translates directly to the real world.

Relationship Counselling:

Most people seek relationship counselling to address conflict management, improved communication, quality of connection, trust issues, or a specific damaging event such as infidelity or betrayal. Its also an excellent way to maintain a healthy partnership, or to preempt issues down the road not because there is something they`ve identified as needing to be addressed. This kind of counselling is applicable for relationships between romantic partners, family members, friends, or colleagues.
