I believe that all human beings have a remarkable ability to grow and change. Some clients come to me with a great deal of depression or hopelessness about their lives without the insight as to how they can be helped. I use a strengths-based approach as I listen to their stories to find the hope, possibilities, and resiliencies that coexist alongside suffering and insecurities. All therapies are evidenced-based and trauma informed.
A large part of my practice is EMDR � Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing � a quick and long lasting treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, and much more. Counselling is much more than talking about feelings. My approaches are evidenced-based and support all spiritual beliefs.
Above all, sessions are personalized to support the uniqueness of the self or the relationship dynamics. My clients` concerns may involve anxiety, chronic pain, substance use, trauma/abuse, stress from school or work, and a sense of the lack of purpose and meaning in their lives. I welcome all clients (e.g. cultures, LGBTQ2+, polyamory)
