The focus is on the connection of behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. By bringing awareness and adjustment to one or all of these aspects, meaningful change will occur.

Three Points Counselling values connection as the basis for change and growth in an individual. We believe in taking a strengths based approach to empower each client. The process may look different for each person, but it starts with connecting human-to-human. The journey is yours but we are lucky enough to be with you for a time. I believe that the most amount of change comes from the therapeutic alliance that is created between client and counsellor (and research backs this!). My first step is to meet my clients where they are at and connect as a human. I want to empower you to be the best version of yourself.

I focus on the patterns of thoughts, behaviours and emotions. I believe that all behaviour was once beneficial but can become stuck as we grow in other areas. I also use emotion focused therapy to recognize emotions and brief solution focused therapy to try and meet client goals on an efficient timeline. Although I use an integrative approach, I find it more important to meet a client where they are and will work to create a unique experience.

Areas of Focus: Anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, intimate relationships, interpersonal relationships, trauma, emotion work, assertiveness training, chronic pain.

I hold a BA in psychology from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Counselling from Gonzaga University. I have spent many years working one on one with individuals to be a part of the change process. I consider myself a life long learner and strive to continue to learn and integrate throughout my life. That currently takes the form of expanding my work with couples, and group therapy.

Outside of the office, in my free time I love cooking, running, video games, and connecting with friends.
