My name is Katharine Carter and I’m a registered Social Worker based out of Martensville, SK. My practice, Carter’s Counselling, has come about as a result of my passion for working with people from all different walks of life.
I have been working within the human services field for the last ten years. I have experience working with children and youths within the school system, as well as for the Saskatchewan Health Authority in the area of Mental Health & Addictions.
Life can certainly be tough and sometimes we might feel like we’re drowning in problems. Perhaps we just need to be provided with the tools we need in order to manage all the curve balls that life throws our way.
I utilize a strengths-based approach and will assist you to identify and build upon your inherent strengths. I am also trained in talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and Christian counselling. My focus is on meeting you where you’re at and helping you to achieve your version of success.
