Description
I work with individuals to heal from the trauma that's connected to their anxiety or depression. Gradual, gentle approaches are used to resolve trauma, including complex trauma. Going beyond traditional talk therapy, my work often incorporates body-oriented (somatic) psychotherapy, which integrates awareness of body sensations. This can allow your body, mind, and emotions to heal deeply from trauma and move toward resilience and well-being.
Maybe you feel overwhelmed (anxious, irritable, angry) or shut down (stuck in bed, no energy, numb, depressed, or dissociated). You might be wanting to address issues with trust, bonding, or self-concept. We can work together to slowly increase your capacity to feel safe, connected, and engaged in your life.
