Welcome to Little Adventures, Private Home Childcare

My program consists of a lot of outdoor time. I bring most of my materials outside.

Weather permitting we are outside most of the day, even jumping in puddles in the rain! My backyard has plenty of space to run around, and a climbing wall/ tree house/ bridge/ slide set.

I like to incorporate the best of Montessori (the way it teaches letters and numbers) Reggio ( empowering the creative and messy sides) Forst (using nature as an educator)

My program is semi structured, I have a schedule that I TRY to keep too!

Each week has a learning focus. You can find new books on our learning focuses in the book bin, and I incorporate the focus into our sensory experiences, outside, and in our play time conversations.

In our day to day play we will be working on:

*Colour and shape recognition

*The sounds and names of the letters

*Numbers and each corresponding volume

*Manners / sharing

*Self regulation

*My classroom routine fosters independence and self esteem

I do have my First Aid and CPR (recertified in May 2021)

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator, in good standings with the college of ECE.

I have a Police Reference Check (VSC)
