Inner Compass Online Art Therapy Clinic offers individual and group art therapy as well as workshops.

Individual Art Therapy:

Work one-to-one with an art therapist

The individual will develop a plan together with the therapist and commit to approximately six to eight sessions. This may be longer or shorter as needed, the therapist will be responsive to all client needs. The therapist may guide the client each session with a specific art therapy activity suited to issue being explored or encourage the client to create spontaneously.

Group Art Therapy:

Art therapy can help deepen and even heal relationships within your group, team, or community.

Are you part of a group that would like to cultivate more connection, safety, or trust? Group art therapy can be a great fit for: workplace staff teams, sports teams, boards of directors, faith groups, groups of friends or family, people that have been through a significant event together.

In a group art therapy session, group members are guided through a shared art therapy experience and related group discussion. Group therapy is relational and provides peer support, fostering a sense of community and belonging. It can be empowering to be witnessed by others and validating to be seen and heard by people who may share similar experiences and concerns.

Workshops:

We offer workshops on topics ranging from processing the impact of the pandemic, to grief and loss, team building, and handling stress and burnout.

Art therapy workshops are a collaborative process in which participants explore a particular theme, facilitated by a trained art therapist. Attending an art therapy workshop is an excellent way to engage in a meaningful creative process alongside others with whom you have some common experience. Connecting around these themes can help normalize your experience, build connections, and provide opportunities to witness others’ experiences which may then inform your own.

Art therapy workshops are short-term commitments that tend to focus on skill development or immersive shared experiences. The length of a workshop can range from a few hours to a full weekend or a few consecutive days.
