About Me:
Hello! I'm Becky and I am honoured that you have landed here as you embark on your healing journey. I am a wife, mother to five children, and many furry and scaled creatures, and a Usui/Holy Fire III® Reiki Practitioner.
Although my background is in Veterinary medicine, I have always been drawn to alternative and natural therapies. When I became pregnant with my last child, I felt an undeniable pull towards Reiki healing, and I knew it was time to follow this path. I have found Reiki to be life changing for me and I hope to pass that experience on to you while helping you meet your wellness goals. It is an honour to be entrusted with the health of your body, mind, and spirit.
About Reiki, Crystals, and the Holy Fire:
REIKI is a Japanese technique discovered in 1922 by Mikao Usui. It is a method of energy healing administered by gentle touch or energy/auric field clearing. Reiki practitioners are trained and attuned to channel the universal life force energy to promote relaxation and healing of mind, body, spirit, and even spaces. Visit the blog to learn more.
Although considered a "New Age Therapy", crystals have long been used by humans for healing and energetic purposes. Crystals emit vibrational energy that can have an effect on our physical and emotional energy. Adding crystals to Reiki healing sessions can enhance the power and intention of the healing energy.
Holy Fire III® Reiki is a new update of traditional Reiki energy that comes from a higher level of consciousness. It is gentle yet powerful and empowers Usui and Karuna Reiki to work more effectively. Although the name may call to mind biblical associations, Holy Fire Reiki is not religious based.
