Karina is a Registered Social Worker, who has a Master of Social Work with a Clinical Specialisation as well as certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She is a compassionate, skilled therapist with experience working in rural and community clinics as well as hospital inpatient mental health. Karina also integrates best practices from volunteering and working in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. For more than 15 years, Karina served people experiencing anxiety, depression, family conflict, and/or trauma. She also counselled survivors of eating disorders, abuse, and hopelessness. Through effective therapies and by honouring your story, Karina will encourage you and support you to overcome your stresses or manage complex mental disorders. She looks forward to helping you improve your emotional and mental well-being.
