Stephanie MC, PGCE, B.Ed. – Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto, Ontario
Welcome to my practice! I am Stephanie, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto, Ontario. My approach to therapy is client-centered and grounded in a feminist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed framework. I work with individuals of all genders, sexualities, and cultural backgrounds, bringing an intersectional and LGBTQ+ affirmative perspective to my practice.
In my work, I employ techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches. My goal is to help you explore your current patterns of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, and understand how they relate to past life experiences. Self-awareness is a key component of healing and personal growth.
I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel comfortable, seen, and heard. My approach is characterized by authenticity and humor, and I deeply value the opportunity to be invited into your inner world. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for fostering self-disclosure and meaningful progress.
I specialize in working with clients dealing with anxiety, career stress, coping skills, life transitions, motherhood, perfectionism, relationships, self-criticism, self-esteem, trauma, and women’s issues. I offer virtual therapy sessions across Ontario and in-person sessions in Toronto for clients who are fully vaccinated. If you’re ready to start your journey towards self-discovery and healing, please contact me to schedule a session or learn more about how we can work together to address your concerns and achieve your goals.
