At Connected Eating, we offer a unique, research-driven approach to eating disorders treatment. Our program focuses on consistent meals and snacks that are planned, prepared, and enjoyed in a therapeutic environment—a key factor in effective intervention.
Our approach helps clients learn how to nourish and nurture their bodies through self-care, enabling them to function without relying on disordered eating as a coping mechanism. Under the guidance of our compassionate and experienced team of therapists and dietitians, clients gain valuable skills that promote long-term recovery.
At Connected Eating, we recognize the complex relationship with food that many individuals struggle with, especially in a weight-focused society. We aim to empower clients by helping them reconnect with their bodies, fostering a sense of trust, nourishment, and intuitive eating.
Our services include individual therapy and dietitian consultations, as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This comprehensive program includes weekly counseling, group therapy, supervised meals, mindfulness training, and cooking skills development. For clients who already have a treatment team, we collaborate closely by providing regular updates to ensure continuity of care.
A critical component of full recovery is the development of practical life skills. At Connected Eating, we offer group cooking sessions, grocery shopping support, meal planning, and in-house cooking lessons, ensuring that clients can maintain their recovery and apply these skills in their own homes.
