Spencer ‘N’ Psychotherapy in Toronto, Ontario – Queer-Affirming, Trauma-Informed Therapy
As a compassionate, trauma-informed, and queer-affirming Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto, I provide a safe and affirming space for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. With my own lived experience as a member of the queer community, I deeply understand the unique challenges and strengths faced by queer and trans individuals. In therapy, you’ll feel seen, heard, and validated as I support you in navigating life’s stresses, transitions, and struggles. Together, we will break through feelings of “stuckness” and work towards empowerment and meaningful change. You’ll leave with practical tools and skills to help you move forward in life.
About Spencer Nageleisen (he/him)
I’m Spencer Nageleisen, a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto specializing in helping youth and adults through various life challenges. Outside of therapy, you’ll find me cooking, spending time with my partner, walking, or diving into a great book or podcast. My journey with psychology started in high school when I became fascinated by human behavior, which led me to complete a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in psychology at the University of Ottawa.
In my early twenties, I felt stuck and unhappy, unsure of how to live my truth. Through therapy, I gained clarity and found freedom from the “stuckness” in my life. This transformative experience inspired me to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and today, I provide psychotherapy in Toronto that is grounded in anti-oppressive, queer-affirming practices.
Whether you’re facing personal struggles or life transitions, my Toronto-based psychotherapy practice offers a compassionate and empathetic space for you to explore your truth. Together, we will work towards relieving your suffering and achieving a fulfilling life full of purpose and meaning.
