I am here to help provide empathic support and tools necessary to move forward from wherever you are. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals.
I primarily work with individual adults, however, I have also worked with children and families.
My education includes a Bachelor`s degree in Social work from the University of Regina, as well as a Master`s degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo.
I am grounded in feminist practice with a focus on empowering clients. I believe in the power of knoweldge and connection, and in supporting individuals in finding themselves. I work from a narrative framework, inviting individuals to share their life stories and re-author them so that they can live a life that fits their values. I also have training in cognitive behavioural therapeutic techniques, trauma-and-violence informed practice, and systems therapy.
My areas of interest include women`s health, gender diversity, anxiety, depression, healthy relationships, relationship abuse, and trauma.
I offer individual, couples, children, and family counselling in person, by phone, or virtually.
