Licensed Home Child Care
Caring For Kids Licensed Home Child Care provides children and families with child care in a home setting, with the security of operating in accordance with all regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act.
Home child care caregivers provide a nurturing home environment while offering age appropriate activities that include:
• fun, creative activities
• active, outdoor play
• play-based opportunities for learning
• healthy meals and snacks
• individualized care in small group settings that often become, ‘a home away from home’
Caregivers are screened before opening their homes to families and are provided with ongoing resources and professional learning. The Home Visitor conducts regular visits to ensure a high-quality program, and works with the families to ensure they are placed with a home that meets their needs.
