Kindertots Child Care Centre

KINDERTOTS CHILD CARE CENTRE LTD. is located in downtown Ajax and operates a day care facility in a 10,000 sq.ft. building. We offer day care programs for infants, toddlers, Pre-schoolers, Kindergarten and before and after school for school-aged children.

Kindertots Child Care Centre offers highly professional child care services. The Centre operates a modern-day care centre with an indoor play room facility; the only Centre in the Durham Region with this ability due to the luxury of space.

Kindertots Child Care Centre’s curriculum method views a child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is a method that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child – physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. The teacher, child, and environment create a learning triangle. The classroom is prepared by the teacher to encourage independence, freedom within limits, and a sense of order. The child, through individual choice, makes use of what the environment offers for his or her development, interacting with the teacher when support and guidance are needed. All methods are in keeping with Ministry regulations.

Teachers:

Kindertots Child Care Centre has been fortunate to secure staff with over 20+ years of experience in the child care field. In addition, we have a majority of staff who are double qualified as they have experience in the Montessori teaching method as well. All current staff have been with the Centre since its inception.

Our half walls on the ground floor space allows us to interact with both our parents and children from infants to Preschoolers. Our parents and children feel like at home when they step into our Centre as we make each and everyone of them feel special.

Hours of Operation:

Kindertots Child Care Centre is open from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. as we understand that in these present times, the Corporate offices require staff to work longer hours.
