Professional Bio:

Julie Beyer, BA, is the founder and CEO of For the LOVE of FOOD in Vancouver. Julie is a renowned culinary artist and the creative mind behind GLOW Goodies and Chocolate, including the acclaimed GLOWBall Consciousness Truffles, featured on CTV BC News, Peak Radio, and at TED Global’s 30th Anniversary event. Julie’s innovative contributions have earned her a nomination as one of Vancouver’s top business founders for high-quality lifestyle enhancements.

An advocate for conscious business practices, Julie has been featured in the book Small Business Big Change: A Microentrepreneur’s Guide to Social Responsibility. She has spoken on sustainable business practices at the UBC New Economy Summit and the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Julie also received The First Canadian Barter Exchange’s “Win Big for Your Small Biz” $18,000 in-kind grant.

Julie’s passion for holistic nutrition is reflected in her work as a recipe contributor to the IBS Cookbook for Dummies and her development of green stevia-sweetened smoothies and raw desserts for Sweet Cherubim restaurant. She has presented at various events, including corporate groups, the BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Whole Foods, and other notable institutions. Julie is currently completing her diploma in holistic nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
