How are you really feeling? Our emotions can feel confusing or overwhelming. From an early age, I learned how helpful it was to open up in a safe space and feel my emotions to move past them. For over 15+ years, I’ve practiced Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help others because it aligns with my personal experiences and values. EFT is supported by research to treat depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health issues. When we feel the emotions connected to our issues, we start to understand ourselves better and open ourselves to healing, change and growth to feel more confident and satisfied in life.
I am certified as an EFT Supervisor and Therapist by Dr. Leslie Greenberg (the creator of EFT) and the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy. I have co-facilitated EFT trainings, co-authored a chapter and published research and presented at international conferences.
I support clients experiencing relationship issues, self-criticism, perfectionism, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and trauma. I can also integrate other evidence-based approaches like DBT and CBT. I strive to get to know you as a person and your unique needs in safe, inclusive space and collaborate with you on a journey to a healthier you.
