Dr. Hart’s practice is built upon the values of therapy conducted in a respectful, collaborative, and problem-solving manner, within the context of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.

He is committed to drawing on the latest advances in psychological practice treatment and giving you access to the most scientifically validated treatments.

His primary goals in therapy are to help you to identify your life goals, and if you wish, to provide you with useable skills in order to help you change unproductive or self-limiting ways of thinking and behaving.

More About Dr. Trevor Hart, C. Psych:

Dr. Hart completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Temple University, and conducted a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University Medical School and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He is a registered psychologist with extensive training in treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and psychological treatment of medical diseases including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Hart has extensive training in psychotherapy with diverse populations, including therapy with ethnically and racially diverse populations, and therapy with gay men, lesbians, queer people, and bisexual people.

Dr. Hart is also a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University. Dr. Hart is both an active researcher and teaches both undergraduate and graduate students in applied psychology.
