Description

Virtual counselling with sliding scale rates.

Hannah is a RPC-C with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association. She believes our mental health should have the same priority and care as our physical health. She works with clients on anything from mental health to trauma to live transitions to substance use. Sessions are all virtual and Hannah can accept clients all across Canada. Rates are sliding scale based on income to help make counselling a little more affordable.

Meet Hannah:

Hannah was raised on a dairy farm here in Colchester County. After high school, she went to Mount Allison University where she studied History, English, and Theatre. While there, Hannah fell in love with theatre and went on to work as a stage manager. She worked with several Nova Scotia based theatre companies and was on the stage management team for 50+ shows ranging from Shakespeare to Canadian premiers of Broadway musicals.

After ten years it was time for a change. Hannah had been slowly developing a passion for mental health and wellness, so counselling was a natural step. She graduated from the Counselling Skills and Social/Human Services program at Maritime Business College in 2021. Hannah has been a Client Support Worker at the Hub House in Truro where she worked with people experiencing homelessness, and is now a Community Outreach Worker with Schools Plus working with students at local schools.

Hannah is committed to creating a safe space for people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds to receive mental health support. While she tailors her approach to each client, her practice is rooted in both person-centered and trauma-informed counselling.
