About Anna MacGillivray: Anna MacGillivray is a dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. With over a decade of experience, Anna integrates Emotion Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Clinical Hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and yoga into her practice. She works with youth and adults on various issues, including trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Anna’s holistic approach focuses on emotional and behavioral patterns, self-worth, and personal resilience.
What to Expect: Your counselling journey with Anna will begin with creating a nurturing and trusting environment. In the initial session, we will discuss your history, coping strategies, and current patterns to understand how they serve you. We will set goals for your therapy and develop a self-care plan to support you between sessions.
