I have been a licensed social worker (B.S.W.) since 2016, and I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des th\u00e9rapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Qu\u00e9bec. I hold certification in animal-assisted therapy and have extensive experience working with children, families in crisis, individuals with mental health challenges, and elders in long-term care. My work also includes supporting intercultural communities and Indigenous peoples. Currently, I am affiliated with the Phoenix Centre for Children and Families. My diverse experiences have provided me with valuable insights into various challenges, particularly those faced by military families. I am committed to offering support through the transitions brought by military life, with a strong focus on empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anoki – My Animal-Assisted Therapy Partner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anoki is a two-year-old mixed-breed dog, with a Native origin name meaning “comedian,” which fits his personality perfectly. He enjoys receiving attention and has a charmingly clumsy demeanor. Originally from a Native community in Quebec, Anoki is known for his calm and affectionate nature. Despite being anxious and fearful as a puppy, he has grown into a confident and loving companion thanks to dedicated care and affection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il adore recevoir de l\u2019attention et a une d\u00e9marche maladroite mais charmante. Originaire d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 autochtone du Qu\u00e9bec, Anoki est connu pour sa nature calme et affectueuse.
